We are sadly looking to re-home our dog. We have so far been let down twice so are only looking for serious new owners. This needs to be someone fairly local as we want to meet for a walk initially and then carry out a home visit to be sure his new home will be suitable. (We are not just handing him over as some people think when they have messaged to say ‘We can collect him tomorrow’!).Barney has many good qualities but unfortunately we have another male dog and the two living together just isn’t working. He is definitely not suitable to be re-homed with another dog or children.
He is not at all aggressive but he is obsessed with balls, including footballs and anything made of rubbery material which lots of children’s toys are. For this reason he can’t be let off a lead in most places as he will destroy peoples footballs!
He would be most suited to a household with no other dogs or children.
He doesn’t bark, cause any damage to the house and is happy having just one walk a day.
This has been a difficult decision but we want to find a nice suitable home for him. He is a very sweet dog in lots of ways.
